Welcome to Young Farmers

October 2018 Round-Up

October has been a busy month for a Wythall, we hosted our new members night at the start of the month which was really well attended, thank you to all that came we hope to see you at some more upcoming meetings! It was great to see lots of new faces joining in, the Hungry Hippos went down very well, as did the BBQ that was put on by some of our existing members.

We then had our flower arranging workshop kindly hosted by Diane Morris, it’s safe to say we all learnt a new skill and made some lovely table decorations for our Harvest Supper.

Our Harvest Supper was a great night as always, we had a delicious meal and it was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and family of the club. Well done to everyone who went home with a trophy! It was great to give a cheque to our chosen charity for last year too.

We held a pumpkin carving night towards the end of the month which was good fun for all involved.

Thank you to all the members who came and helped at the Umberslade Bonfire, we have been given a cheque for donating our time which gives us a good head start on our fundraising for the year!

Emily and Katie also attended Club Officers training weekend this month which was really interesting and has left them with lots of ideas to bring back to the club.
