Success for Tenbury Wells Young Farmer's Club
TENBURY Wells Young Farmers’ Club have been busy proving their pulling power again.
The girls’ tug-of-war team represented Worcestershire Young Farmers’ Clubs at a national tugof- war event in the Royal Show at Stoneleigh.
The Tenbury girls secured the honour at various competitions this year, first winning their annual county Young Farmers’ rally. They won again at the next area round of competitions, held at the Three Counties Show, resulting in them being crowned Three Counties and West Midlands area champions.
The team had been training every week since Easter and their efforts paid off with them coming fifth nationally at the Royal Show.
