Wythall Young Farmers is a friendly and growing club based on the edge of Worcestershire.

We meet every Wednesday, usually from 7:30pm, for lots of different activites throughout the year such as water and field sports, bowling, Tug of War, competition skills, flower arranging, farm tours and many many more! We also have plenty of social events for all ages as well as nights out for our 18+ members! Our members come from lots of different walks of life - accountants, nurses, charity workers, engineers, contractors, electricians, grooms, you don't have to be a farmer to be a young farmer!

We pride ourselves on being an active club within the county and have been awarded the Most Improved Club at our County Show on several occasions. We have moved up the placings from 8th to 4th for the last 2 years running as the club continues to grow and build on its successes! All roads lead to rally, with the Worcestershire County Show being our biggest event of the year where we take part in many different competitions including cookery, craft, floristry, photography, metalwork, woodwork, dance, and plenty of silly comps too! And there is the opportunity to go on and compete at The Royal Three Counties Show.

Wythall YFC is a competitive club and has taken home many prizes and awards throughout the competitions during the year, such as hedge laying, calf and lamb showing, sports and dance, stock judging, public speaking and even had members place 1st at West Midlands Area competitions in Senior Member of The Year and Cookery and go on to compete in the National finals!

We host our own big YFC parties such as the spring Point to Point doo at Shelfield Park and the infamous summer Bash on The Borders with hundreds of attendees coming from across the country. We also run several fundraisers throughout the year, raising money for charities close to our members' hearts such as The British Heart Foundation.

There is something for everyone in YFC, whether its learning new skills, building confidence or making life-long friends and Wythall YFC is a very welcoming club always taking on new members. If you are aged 12-28 and are interested in joining Wythall YFC, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our committee to come along and see what all the fun is about!

And remember, you don't have to be a farmer to be a young farmer!
