Tryangle Awards Winner-Ryan Springthorpe

Well done to Ryan Springthorpe(Inkberrow YFC) who scooped up the Personal Development Award at the Tryangle Awards Last Week.

Ryan has been a member of WFYFC and attended Inkberrow YFC since he was 10 years old. Last year Ryan took on the role of County Junior Committee Chairman .Ryan has done a superb job at leading our Junior Committee members over the last year and managed to host several events for the other Junior members in our organisation. On top of caring about their welfare he has also planned and carried out several fund raising events to raise money for our Organisation.

Ryan organised bag packing at Tescos, ran a tuck shop at all our major events and competitions and planned and carried out a very successful virtual horse racing night. In total Ryan has helped to raise nearly £2000 in just 12 months all whilst facing a personal battle at home.

Ryan is a quiet young person but his sheer passion and determination to make WFYFC a successful and fun place for all our younger members is outstanding.

The awards, now in their eighth year, are aimed at recognising the all too often unsung achievements of young people in Worcestershire. The Tryangle Awards go to the ‘tryers’, those who have overcome social, personal, physical and health barriers in order to achieve. The personal development award is awarded for recognising the development of an individual, who through self determination has demonstrated personal growth, a personal journey worthy of celebration and recognition.
