Club Roles

Within each Club every single member has a role to play. Each member may not hold a position of responsibility but everyone at some point represents YFC. The Club Officers form the structure of the Club but without the members there would be no YFC!

Each YFC member works to the following guidelines:

Each Club is controlled by two main Committees, although the exact roles may vary depending on the Club:

They play a vital role in the running of the Club by always being available to provide advice and support to members on competitions, social events and other important issues.

The roles are:

  • President
  • Life Vice-President(s)

  • Vice-President(s)
  • Advisory Committee
  • Club Leaders
  • Junior Club Leader

The second committee is made up of the current members and actively runs the Club.

The roles are:

  • Chairman
  • Vice-Chairman
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Minute Secretarys
  • Programme Secretary / Social Secretary / Events Officer
