Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is the main decision making committee and is made up of the Trustees of WFYFC – the elected County Officers (Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Deputy Vice-Chairman), the Executive Committee Representatives elected at a Club level (up to 2 from each Club) and ex-officio members (President; Vice-Presidents; National Council Member; the past three years County Chairman). In addition there will be some co-options (representatives of grant-aiding bodies and other organisations and individuals interested in YFC). It is chaired by the County Chairman.
The Trustees of WFYFC are able to vote on any decision being made by the Executive Committee and must be over the age of 18.
The Executive Committee is responsible for:
- Carrying out the wishes of the general committee
- Appointing all other County Committees and Sub-Committees, two of which must be Finance & General Purposes Committee and Board of Management
- Passing any recommendations from all other Committees
No decision affecting WFYFC can be made by any other Committee or Sub-Committee without referral to the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee meetings are held bi-monthly on the last Monday in the month (Jan; Mar; May; July; Sept; Nov).
