County Show Working Group
The County Show Working Group is a sub-committee of the Activities Committee. It is chaired by the County Show Chairman, who is elected by the Activities Committee. It is made up of members selected by the County Show Chairman.
The County Show Working Group arranges the largest event in the YFC calendar and is responsible for:
- Planning and budgeting of the County Show, in liaison with the Finance & General Purposes Committee
- Preparing and organising the venue
- Agreeing the competitions programme, in liaison with the Activities Committee
- Suggesting judges and stewards for the competitions
- Gaining sponsorship for the event
- Promoting the event
- Dealing with any health and safety issues relating to the event
The County Show Working Group meetings take place at the discretion of the County Show Chairman.
All Club Chairman will be invited to at least one site meeting, prior to the County Show.
