As WFYFC has members under the age of 18 it has the following policy in place to protect those under 18, as well as those over 18:

To ensure that any event is suitably assessed for possible risks it should be assessed using the following guidance:
When arranging events it is advisable, particularly for insurance purposes, to complete a declaration form with the venue personnel to ensure that the state of the venue is assessed and confirmed both before and after the event. The following template can be used:
It is advisable to be familiar with the YFC insurance policy to answer any questions that may be asked when arranging an event at an external venue:

For any events involving periods of time away from home it is advisable to get Members to complete a medical form. The following template can be used:
