What's it all about?
The biggest competition during the year is the County Show. This is a day where each Club in the County competes against each other in a variety of competitions ranging from cake decorating to tractor handling and maintenance, flower arranging to sheep shearing. There really is a competition for everyone and the day usually ends with real achievement and a great excuse to socialise in the evening to celebrate!

Practices for competitions have been arranged as follows:

Entries
Entry dates for the County Show are as follows:

When entering competitions please remember that entries will only be accepted for Members for whom there is a valid Membership Form & Card in County Office. All payments for new members must be in County Office no later than the below times in order for the competitor to be eligible to compete:

Club Rota
In order for the event to run as smoothly as possible, support is required from each Club and their members. Help will be required before, during and after the event. Details of the agreed Club Rota will be available shortly. Bonus points will be gained for all support received!

Show Entrance
All members will be required to pay an entrance fee to the Show site. Fees are:

Show Dance
The County Show Dance will take place on the evening of the 29th May in a barn on the Show site. Entrance fees will be available shortly.
Three Counties Show
For many of the competitions, those attaining 1st, 2nd or 3rd place will be asked to represent WFYFC at the Three Counties Show, from Friday 18th June to Sunday 20th June. Competitors will be contacted once the County Show has taken place.
