Annual County Show 2018

Important info for County Show on Saturday 26th May 2018
The M5 Link road to the A38 at Junction 7 is going to be closed for a week from 24th May 2018. The best way would be to continue to Junction 8 and go onto the M50.  Get off at Junction 1  then follow the A38 North until the crossroads to Upton on Severn.

Worcestershire Young Farmers is a non-profit youth movement charity serving rural Worcestershire and surrounding areas. We support in excess of 400 members across 10 clubs.

Our goal is to provide an environment for our members in which to have fun, learn and gain a sense of achievement. A service very few organisations provide, especially in our rural communities.

We will be holding our 70th Annual County Show on Saturday 26th May 2018 at Merevale Farm, Hanley Castle, Worcester WR8 0AA by the kind permission of the Hudson Family, open from 9am to 5pm.

This is the 70th year that the event will be taking place and we expect around 800 people to come and see what our members can do in a wide-ranging number of Competitions, ranging from Woodwork, Tractor Handling, Cookery, Stage Events such as Farm Yard Band, Flower Arranging, Club Exhibits and Tug of War.

Please get in touch with the office on 01905 621616 or countyoffice@worcsyfc.org.uk if you are interested in any of our sponsorship packages and the opportunity to promote yourself at our showcase event the Annual County Show, and support our important work.
