Winter Wonderland Ball 2019

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

It is with great regret that due to very poor ticket sales WFYFC have identified that the Winter Wonderland Ball 2019 is not viable to run. We have therefore have had to take the difficult decision to cancel the event.

We can assure you this decision was not taken lightly and is a most disappointing outcome for us all, having been our headline event for many years. The financial risk to the Federation, itself a charity, of continuing at the present rate of ticket sales was viewed to be unacceptably high by both our Events Committee and Board of Management. In cancelling the event we will still be losing significant sums of money through venue hire, entertainment and infrastructure costs that we have already paid for. This cost is however likely to be substantially lower than the projected loss of continuing with the event.

REFUNDS: Anyone who has purchased a ticket will be contacted via email. We will be working shortly to carry out refunds for tickets purchased through our online shop, and we aim for these to be completed by 22nd November. Please do not contact us before this date regarding refunds.

Once again, we are very sorry to have to bring you this sad news, but we hope you will appreciate the position that we are in. As a Federation we will be looking to revise our programme of events in the future and welcome any suggestions for improvement.
